A hotel that is located in a vital location near Al-Sheikh Zayed Street within Barsha district in  Dubai city should be an outstanding icon. The massing of the hotel ensures the access of natural light and ventilation for each room, at the same time, it provides a public courtyard which is shaded throughout the year. Glass facades which are appealing in hotels, are treated with a mesh that reduces entry of sunlight and heat. The program of the hotel consists of services and parking which is located in the basement levels. The ground and first level contains public activities which include reception, restaurant and several other activities. Hotel rooms are located within the 11 typical floors of the hotel. At the top, the hotel celebrates the views of the city by having a restaurant and an indoor pool. All of these spaces were studied with a consideration of the relation between the front and back of house services.
