This competition revolved around transforming an abandoned island in Venice with existing heritage buildings into a university and a research center, to create an educational point of attraction in the Venetian Lagoon.

Our approach was to celebrate the existing heritage buildings and to transform them into outdoor open air museums, while the educational spaces were designed as a bridge overlooking the heritage plaza and the heritage buildings.
