Being located in Al Qutaifiyah region  in Qatar , the villas had to follow the local building regulation that specifies the architectural style that must be used, therefore the villas had an Islamic style using plaster and wood for the exterior.

The regulations also limited the built up area that can be used which was challenging in a big building site .

The main concept was to use a courtyard between the two villas to provide adequate ventilation in addition to creating visual axes towards the attractive greenery and water features.
